Bridge Runners!?!

Anyone in the most pleasant Mt Pleasant running The Copper River Bridge Run? Anyone suffering from training related aches and pains or injuries? Acupuncture offers a safe, effective and quick treatment for common running related injuries. Problems such as muscle strains, tendon sprains, overly tight muscles (hamstrings anyone?), plantar fasciitis, and IT band issues all respond well to acupuncture.

Acupuncture is also a great training aid because it can help regular digestion (you have to digest well in order to absorb nutrients), improve sleep (your body repairs itself while you sleep), boost your immune system (you have to stay health if you want to run well), and increase your energy level (you need energy to train).

I've been running for about 27 years. I started out with track in junior high and high school and moved on to marathons after college. I've run sub-3:00 marathons and enjoy road racing at all distances. I've also been using acupuncture as a training aid since 2003 and it's helped my run injury free for the past 13 years and counting. Contact me at Charlston Acupuncture if you have any questions about acupuncture and running.

Good luck on the Bridge Run!
